8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCherry Creek High School may not be suitable for every student, especially those in need of academic and mental health support. Due to its large size, the school struggles to provide individualized attention to each student. Teachers have the autonomy to implement their own teaching methods, grading systems, and offer extra credit, resulting in inconsistent academic experiences and disparities in GPAs. Unlike other schools in the district, Cherry Creek High School follows a rigid schedule with eight classes per day, limiting opportunities for in-depth learning. Additionally, the workload of counselors and deans may hinder personalized support and college counseling services, often necessitating outside assistance for students who do not fit the school's mold.Parent Review3w ago - High Plains Elementary School

- 550 Students
5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot the best school in the area. Used to have a male principal who was promoted up the ranks of CCSD, but only hurt the school while running it. For instance, he took away the STEM lab so I guess science isn't as necessary as other schools deem it to be. Subsequent principals are fine with family relationships but there has been no movement as far as academic achievement. Every grade is only as good as the current teacher your kid has--- there is no continuity.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 10099 E Peakview Avenue.

"Walking trails and a designated off leash area adjacent to the ball-field are a coupled the highlights in this super dog friendly area. There is a Pet Supply store in walking distance which offers grooming services as well as a self serve dog wash. This is very useful as we have easy access to the river trails and sometimes the pups get a little bit muddy! There are also a couple of nearby dog parks in easy driving distance, but with this much river trail and lake side, you can get plenty of walking done right here in the neighborhood."

"homeless people live here with us. They are a type of Street person who dwell up and down allyways and occasionally scrounge up enough to get a motel room on Broadway. As a result, the Ally separating Broadway from Lincoln, is where they most live. "
