6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was a real eye opener after moving from an inner-city school mentality. It is has many of the features of a private school due to some of the very generous parent donations . After having two of my children graduate from BMHS, I have to say that I am glad they received an education in the Eagle County. The only complaint I have is. I never found a way to connect with other parents. I was not asked to volunteer and it was difficult for my teens find their niche with the other students. On the plus side, it has a stellar science department which not only taught my children the fundamentals of science, but instilled a passion in my youngest for science that I never thought existed! This includes the Social Sciences taught by Mr Phelan, who provided my teens with a journey of self discovery which none of us will soon forget. A math department that is becoming stronger and more stable everyday thanks to some great leadership and finally a foreign language department that is truly unique. Their dual language instruction has been a pioneer for education in out county and in the state. Kids are finishing elementary school and are able to read, write and speak in both spanish and English. The teachers are passionate, creative and teach to the individual child. The diversity in the school is wonderful and has taught my daughters the value of working with others. The accommodate children with special needs and those that are considered GT, all while fostering a love and excitement for learning. Please go and check this school out for yourself. "Just minutes from schools, skiing 20 minutes to Beaver Creek. Plenty of room for all the motorized toys yet zoned for 2 horses. Experience piece and quiet while just 15 minutes to Edwards. Enjoy a home Theatre, Game room just to name a few."

"This is a terrific golf course community surrounded by pocket parks and a community center. At the Sonnenalp Golf course club house is the infamous Balata restaurant. Walking along the street you will be greeted by neighbors walking their dogs or strollers and drivers waving. "

"the one thing about arrowhead over other golf resort communities here, is that everyone in arrowhead is super friendly and easy going. it has that community feel. it is a community of second home owners, but for many this is their primary residence. they golf together all summer, party together at the vista restaurant, at the clubhouse--which by the way has micky poge at the piano nightly and just enjoy each other and life. in the winter it is about skiing and gathering a few friends and taking some runs together and then hitting one of the hot spots on the mtn for lunch. the alpine club offers members super fun social times and a gathering place to store skis and meet. many people simply will not move out of this community when looking for a larger home. this is where their friends are and they want to live where their friends are. if looking for a place where you can instant friends, then you want to live in arrowhead."
