City elegance abounds in this exceptionally charming, 1890’s Curtis Park historic brownstone. This instantly recognizable and much loved building sits just minutes away from such downtown Denver favorites as the Dairy Block, Uchi Denver, and Coors Field, as well as a myriad of excellent breweries, restaurants and coffee houses! Step inside and be greeted by gleaming, original hardwood floors, gorgeous exposed brick, tall windows with original trim, and a wide open floorplan with incredible vaulted ceilings. The kitchen is freshly painted with updated appliances and generous cabinet and counter space, and the bedrooms both have lush new carpet. The master ensuite is quiet and private with plenty of room for your king bed, and the lower level bedroom is light and bright with a full egress window and a private bath. Step out the back door and enjoy your own private patio or the beautifully maintained common spaces, with several seating areas, vibrant rose and flower beds and twinkling lights for those long summer evenings. The downtown Denver horse and carriage business preps their sweet horses in the parking lot directly behind the building, so free horse petting is an added bonus of life on Stout Street! Plus, it’s just a 6 minute walk to the 25th-Welton Light rail station. Modern updates include furnace and central air, updated windows, new carpet, updated appliances, and washer/dryer included. Excellent storage space is available within the home, and there is also access to additional storage for bikes, skis, boxes, etc. So don’t wait, call today for your private showing!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three students at East- a senior, a junior and a sophomore. I was hopeful that with the previous Principal retiring; things would get better. They have not. Requests to speak with counselors and assistant principals go ignored. My kids complain that many teachers seem lazy and just do the minimum. My oldest daughter cuts classes regularly. I asked that the assistant principal contact me to have a conversation with her. A week later, he still hasn’t gotten back to me.To be fair, there are many teachers who stay after hours to help students and clearly try to do the best they can for students. Sadly, many do not.Parent Review2y ago - Whittier K-8 School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWyatt Academy is a true community school that focuses well on whole-child learning. Students are supported socially, emotionally, and academically. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToxic work culture stemming from leadership. Gutted and inadequate Mental health team. While most of the teachers were wonderful, I don’t think they get the support they need from leadership. I witnessed leadership yelling at and shaming kids for behavior compliance instead of using trauma informed, emotional regulation, or restorative approach for discipline. I would not place my own child in this school.Other Review1mo ago - University Preparatory School

"This IS a trick or treating neighborhood!! We put on a show. We ran out of a 5 lb bag of candy in less than two hours with only 1-2 per child. Had a remote controlled fog machine and Halloween music, motion activated spiders and beers for adults. Our neighbors brought us back up candy because they saw popular we were. We love trick or treaters!"
