While it provides security and comfort, it craves laughter, life, and neighbors.

For you (our prospective tenant), we are excited to help you pen the next pages of your story as you help continue the story of 1201 Grape Street. We are owners who remain vested in 1201 Grape Street, the lives under its roof, and its neighbors.

Life slows down in Mayfair: it's a time warp. Down the street, a neighbor works on his sprinklers next to his 1950s pickup. Dogs walk their owners down the wide, tree-lined sidewalks. Tranquil but energetic. At 1201 Grape's front door, eyes are drawn to the craftsmanship and uniqueness of the original front entry door's hardware: a metaphor for the entire house and neighborhood.

Step inside to find original oak floors, coved ceilings, plaster and lathe walls, and original art deco bathroom tile: built in 1937 (and built to last). The openness of the original ranch floor plan delights newcomers. Joined together by the period Moroccan arch, the living and dining rooms work together to serve their communal functions while you imagine a cook searching for a missing cake pan in the ample storage of the adjacent kitchen area.

9 large shade trees, Japanese maples, and diverse perennials: green thumbs get along well here. Spend a morning getting dirty in the yard, then review your efforts with a cold beverage and grilled dish from the BBQ on the patio before heading in to drop your boots, wash your tools, and pop your clothes in the laundry (all in oversized mud room). Retire to the master bedroom: comfortably fitting a king-sized bed and take a cat nap. That's a brief taste of life at 1201 Grape.
