5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a military family we move around quite a bit, in fact, this is the fourth school my daughter has attend in her five years of schooling! I have never, ever met such a dedicated staff. My kids came in slightly below average in a few subject areas and they have excelled thanks to the strategies the teachers have implemented. Their desire to work with students one-on-one or in small groups based on their needs has made all the difference. The staff is also patient and caring. They went out of their way to make our children feel cared for when my husband was deployed. The staff also puts in extra time to do fun days and activities to keep the kids engaged and welcome families on to campus. My children have never once said they didn't want to go to school! As a former elementary school teacher I know that behind the scenes of those fun family days are hours of work applying for grants and putting in time beyond the school day to make everything run smoothly. Don't let the GreatSchools rating fool you, there are great strides being made here! THANK YOU HIGH PLAINS!Parent Review11mo ago - Rampart High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRampart High School would not be recommended for anyone who actually anticipates their genuine futures and overall success. Classrooms are fit with far too many students and not enough is done about behavior or bullying. Basic rules are broken upon a daily basis and students are actively put into a dangerous environment. The classrooms supply limited space, disallowing students' comfort and full learning capabilities. The hallways are almost always overrun, meaning students are likely to arrive late to their classrooms and required study spaces, which would worsen their academic grades. Students in which participate in extracurriculars such as Band or Guitar do not have enough space to supply their instruments or navigate the halls with them. With the recent pandemic of Covid-19, students getting less than an inch of space to themselves would ensure illness to be spread, and it has. Most students within the school have at least encountered another student with an illness, if they themselves are not already ill. The Cafeteria is almost always filled past the point of comfort, and the singular lunch line has a significant lack of food for students in which do not arrive almost immediately. The wait is significant, leaving students with little time to socialize and eat. The food would go so far as to hardly be considered human-grade. Students with disabilities do not receive much accommodation, despite the school's effort. Considering effort, the effort to support school spirit is not widely embraced by the main student body. The general energy is negative and deprived. Students are placed under too much stress, from both the school's lack of actual teaching and programs, and the people created from it. Websites are difficult to navigate, and students hardly receive help, even after asking repeatedly. The atmosphere is almost violent, with many students withholding violent tendencies. The school's attempt to keep a safe environment is taken in vain. This school lacks in what should be necessary for a school. Overall, RHS is a highschool to send your kids to if you're only looking for moderate academic success, and not actual growth or learning.Parent Review1y ago - Mountain Ridge Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHORRIBLE. would not recommend this school. children have been accused, and punished for doing nothing wrong.
