6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat counselors, teachers seem to really enjoy their work, with a couple of exceptions. School community is very inclusive and supportive. Great arts and theater programs. I wish they had a more solid Gifted and Talented program as well as support structured to dyslexic and ADHD kids. The “in classroom” approach isn’t effective.Parent Review1y ago - Fairview High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAh Fairview. I've experienced both a lot of ups and downs during my time here. While some of the students may not be the most accepting of different political beliefs, they're at least mostly friendly if you don't bring up politics. On the downside, Fairview was the very place where I got my first taste of racism. Even when I spoke up, I don't think the issue was really dealt with. Additionally, the teachers here really care about their students. There are so many clubs one can be involved in (and it's easy to start a club too!) and there's really something for everyone. For me, I joined the debate team and it was definitely the best decision of my life. Not only did it help me improve my confidence and my argumentation skills, I made really good friends with my teammates. There were times that I wished I hadn't gone to Fairview, but overall, if I could go back in time to 8th grade when I was choosing a high school, I'd probably still choose Fairview. Yes, I surely had some ups and downs and rough times, but overall, still a good experience and I can't imagine going to a different high schoolStudent Review4y ago - Creekside Elementary School At Martin Park

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids at Creekside and it is our zoned neighborhood school. We love the diversity of students and cultures and the administration and counselor are excellent - they are so professional and truly care about and prioritize the kids social and emotional development, also typically have great, open communication with parents. Anti bullying education and encouraging kindness and inclusion are a daily message for students and teachers from K through 5 for both of my kids have always been open to feedback and honest about everything, even when we didn't always see eye to eye. School has a great community feel with kids from the surrounding neighborhoods and all over boulder, and quite an international influence from CU being one of the zoned elementary schools for the university... We have had the pleasure of getting to know families from all over Europe and Asia during the time my kids have attended, and the school does a great job of encouraging learning about different countries, languages and cultures. Lots of parent involvement/investment as well, which I think is a huge part of its success. Good relationships and conflict resolution between kids are always a priority, and my kids have both thrived there, when they needed anything at all, from an ALP to one needing extra reading help during covid. We love Creekside and have been so happy with the administration and staff! I'm going to be sad when my oldest has to leave for middle school next year.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 275 S 41st St #BASEMENT.

"For anyone who wants to have easy access to hiking, biking and trail running the Martin Acres Community is an area to consider. Martin Park has a lot of bike paths that connect to other parts of Boulder. Within minutes via bike, car or bus you can be in downtown Boulder. For those who need to commute out of Boulder Hwy 36 is easy to get on to. Most of the homes are built of brick and many have been updated."

"Great area -- and easy access to Denver or Boulder/CU. The Park and Ride to Denver is a 5 minute walk from my house and the bus stop into Boulder is at the end of my street. Easy bike ride to CU and to downtown Boulder, great bike paths. Great neighborhood -- mix of college students, families, retirees, CU professionals. Active neighborhood association."
