1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school but, I have been bullied just for being LGBT friendly. 2 fights, in the 2nd week of school happened. The teachers are not very helpful with kids metal health. Some are, at least 6 that I know of. The food can be on time or late. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent of a student at Peoria Elementary and my child is special needs and the care they give him is absolutely the best. They know his issues and they work with him and he loves going to school. we re now on summer break and he is not happy about that because he wants to go to school. He will start 2nd grade next year 2015/2016. We absolutely love the teachers he has had , they have helped us to help him in so many ways when it comes to learning. The staff and both principals are WONDERFUL!!!! they truly love their jobs and their children in the school. We thought this would be a tough transition for our young-in and it has been fantastic. If your looking for a place where you kids are loved and taken care of and the people in the school really care then Paris Elementary is the place to put your child. We are grateful for every thing they have and are doing for our grandson. Kudos to Peoria Elementary from a Family that appreciates everything you have and are doing for our little guy.Other Review8y ago

"I commute 40 minutes from my home in Aurora to work near Colfax and I-25 in Denver. I take 11th or 12th because the drivers on 13th & 14th are scary. "

"It’s a very diverse neighborhood. We hear gunshots a few times a week. The school system out here is not particularly good. The alleyways between houses collect garbage and old furniture. It’s a real slum. But just a few blocks away, houses are newer and much nicer. That area would be much more desirable."

"I am new to the neighborhood so I am just learning more about it. I haven't been able to find what makes it unique quite yet. I guess all the service roads behind homes, private access to your home is pretty cool."

"I'm not a parent but I guess it would be to really check out the neighborhood you're moving to if around here. Yes, it is a flourishing neighborhood, but if you go a street over, it may not be the best area. Located close to the hospital is a perk."
