Neighbors truly care about this community and that has helped city leadership shape this city into communities where you can spend your entire life. From apartment rentals, to entry level homes, to larger suburban homes, to homes on large lots, and senior housing. This city has all of your expected housing options, as well as great shopping options, Rivercats (Giants AAA) Baseball, to recreation on the water. If you are considering moving to this area, and want to be close to downtown Sacramento, but don't want the crime and congestion, or higher housing costs, move over to the beautiful side of the river and the business end of the Causeway.     "Love this area -- have lived here for the past seven years and constantly marvel at its easy access to downtown urbanity and rustic, agrarian fields. This area has redefined quiet for me and is a wonderful oasis from city stresses, but close to them when that's what you want! Elementary schools are very good, and the nearby high school -- with shared community amenities, including community pool, fitness center, and indoor and outdoor courts -- is improving."
