"The people, the houses, the relaxed vibe, the natural beauty and the quirky characters. People are generally warm, friendly and willing to offer help if needed. We have a great selection of restaurants and stores. Anything you need is within a short range. Even the beach"

"I love the weather and biking to the many amazing restaurants in the area. However, the homeless situation gets worse everyday. We pay too much to live here surrounded by crime and garbage. "

"I have lived in Venice all my life. There’s no other place I would rather live. The weather is great, usually 20° cooler than downtown Los Angeles. Many outdoor activities including bike riding, surfing, walking, tennis, paddle tennis, basketball, rollerskating , swimming, And many more. Great walkability to restaurants, shopping, library, farmers market. Dog friendly. "

"With traffic, it takes me at least an hour to get anywhere in the city. Locally, in Venice/Santa Monica, it’s a little better but still takes longer because of traffic. "

"It’s Venice-speaks for itself.. I love this place but the homeless situation is at critical mass. We must find a solution. Reality as it is just now is not sustainable. For the sake of all. "

"It’s beach vibe and the homeless people make for a unique environment. I don’t usually wander around alone at night but it’s a great area to own a bicycle and bike around to get errands done, shopping, riding along the beach and hitting up the local farmers market. They are gentrifing the neighborhood so there is a lot more that needs to be done but the transition is making for a better city "

I would keep an eye on younger kids as Venice doesn’t always bring the best elements to the beach... all in all, it’s a fun diverse place with people from all over the world and all different social and economic backgrounds and a great place in my opinion."
