8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHeritage School (Snowline J.U.S.D) is not what it is cracked up to be. I can count on one hand the nice, caring, and compassionate employees there. Everyone else there including the Principal is a huge joke. I was on the waiting list for 3 years maybe a little longer for my daughter to attend Heritage and man it wasn't worth it. I knew my daughter would have a heavy workload but this was ridiculous. My honor high school student who is also taking college classes online doesn't even have the amount of work my first grader has from Heritage. Since covid hit and having school online, we would start my daughter online at 7 am and we would finish between 4 and 6 pm. That's 9 to 11 hours of school work (including homework) we would be doing daily. We even did schooling on the weekends to try to stay up with the workload. I know this is a high academic school but they cause way too much stress on the students and not only is the workload crazy the Principal Shawn Premo is FAKE. All he cares about is himself and the students and parents do not mean a thing. He thinks he is above everyone else, he is arrogant, condescending, and thinks he is entitled. Mind you, this is a parent-involved school, and he manipulates the parents and students. I removed my child from that school. Your child may get an education there but not in a healthy, safe, and positive environment. PLEASE DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!! Go to Baldy Mesa, Pinon Hills, Pinon Mesa, or Quail Valley, those are great schools!Parent Review2y ago - Quail Valley Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would like to say that Quail Valley, most of the teacher are probably 2 or 3 months behind in math or in English where students do the same thing over and over like for example, quizlet or edpuzzle. By all means this can be very educational, but not when your students are doing it every other day either that or doing what they call “silent reading” where you have to read for 20 or more minutes without having to go to the restroom. Mr.Moen is a great math teacher and know how to take care of his students and helps them understand math a easier way than moving on we’re students who need help don’t get help and end up not doing their work which means they failed that class and get in trouble with their parents or guardian. I hope they start clean their water fountains because they are filthy and clean the bleachers and gym because students complain about getting dirty from a floor that is supposed to be cleaned and bleachers are filled with trash, water bottles, gum, you name it. What I don’t also tolerate is how students like in 6th or 7th grade get into a fight and 8th graders get their activity taken for something those students were not apart of. I would lastly say that Quail Valley is good for one thing and it’s making friends.Parent Review11mo ago - Serrano High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI now have 3 children attending this school, with so many programs available to the students, there is something to do for every child. this school has a strong sense of community, and there is no school I would rather send my children to. for that matter there is no district I would rather be in than Snowline Unified.Parent Review5y ago - Vista Verde Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and staff are top notch. A lot has changed at this school making it a safe and competitive educational experience. Parents are very involved and the administration is always working to see where improvement can be made. My kids love it here.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near Summit.
