4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school needs a lot of work in order for it to become a great school. The principal lacks leadership here. She shows no interest for students here nor will she communicate with parents properly like other principals in other schools. Some of the teachers here are not even organized or prepared when it comes to parent teacher conferences. They don't give out homework like other schools do. Another thing about this school is there campus security. Students are let out in the front of the school but a bit ways down not by the main entrance. When its time for students to go home the teacher just stands there and lets them go to their parents or to anyone who picks up a child. Anyone can come up to this school and snatch a child. I had to change my son to another school were i felt he was safe and were the principal actually cares about students and not a paycheck. I wouldnt be surprised if it gets shut down anytime soon.Parent Review13y ago - Franklin High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is an absolute joke. The staff is horrible, the students there don't care... I'm surprised how this school is still functioning. How does a principal allow their entire school and students to act the way they do. Highly recommend avoiding this school if you're a parent. Don't send your kid to this school and if you're planning to work as a substitute (or full-time) teacher, don't bother. There are other schools that need good teachers elsewhere and this isn't one of them.Parent Review2y ago - King Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy brothers and sister as well as myself have attended King School over the past 16 years! We have seen that year after year the staff has been more than involved with the children. They have great incentives for the children to continue to better their education. This is why I did everything possible to enroll my own kids now 10 and 8yrs old at King School. They have been honor roll students from day one. Something that did not happen when they attended a couple other schools nearby.Parent Review10y ago - Roosevelt Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school seems to get terrible every year. this new school year 2013-2014 for the 1st graders is going to be terrible since theres inky one class. yes 1 teacher and over 30 students.. really thinking of changing my son to another school.. i went to the office and ask was was going on and the responce was that since therent wasnt enough students the district took one of teh teachers to another school that really needs a teacher.. and that it might get worse it might happen later on with every single grade. so that makes me thing so what students in this school arent enought to be educated the same way like others in others school like please i remember when i was in school it would be no more than 24 or 26 per class. to me what they are doing is trying to save up a salary and mean while our kids struggle and i dislike the fact that parents compliant to each other but dont even do nothing about it.. and its sad because we are there parents and we want the best for our and any other children any where. very sad and dissapontedParent Review10y ago - John C. "I wouldn't recommend this area to board a pet. This area is riddled with crime, gangs, and is absolutely the worst area of an already horrible city. If you want a nice friendly place, I would suggest you try Harlem prior to coming within 20 miles of Stockton. This is absolutely the WORST place in California."
