6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter just finished kinder and is now a proficient reader. I couldn’t be happier with how her year went academically. She felt supported by her teacher and the other kinder teachers and made wonderful friends. I feel the campus is very safe. We were in a transition year with a new principal but feel she will only bring great things this year to come.Parent Review9mo ago - Simi Valley High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal Mr. Baxter is amazing. Patient, kind, understanding. Staff overall helpful and supportive. Campus needs upgrading, and it is being done. Major upgrades and additions by spring 2023. Great pathways options - coding, biotech, etc. Majority of teachers are great w/ just a few bad apples. Feels like a big school in a small town, but definitely beats any options in LA County.Parent Review1y ago - Sinaloa Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter comes home, showing me a video that her friend recorded a fight every day. There’s a fight every day at the school in one day my daughter even got involved in it and it wasn’t her fault. The school is awful with fights and my daughter comes home, smelling like vape and smoke Every day it’s ridiculous. The school has almost no problem with students failing every class it’s awful.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 2493 Roxy St.

"I don’t like living in simi. It’s quiet and safe and full of paranoid people who moved here because it’s quiet and safe and are convinced they need to keep people from the San Fernando valley out. Its not awful to live here if you have kids, but it’s too far away from the really fun stuff LA has to offer, and it’s not as inexpensive as it once was."
