6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBuckeye is a wonderful school! The teachers truly care about their students and are very responsive to any parent questions or concerns. I have volunteered in the classroom for several years and have always felt appreciated and welcomed. Mr. Cadden seems to know every student by name and can often be seen out on the playground chatting with the kids. We love this school and are so happy to be a part of the Buckeye family.Parent Review2y ago - Camerado Springs Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, the school was horrible. Learning about this school, they don't care about their students. Only a few teachers ever cared, but they didn't bring the right punishment. For example, this one kid lost his hearing from another child, but the school only gave him lunch detention. Also, the food at the school was horrible, moldy bread on sandwiches. The recent rules added to the school were harsh as well. These rules included a "No drop-off zone" causing children to become later than ever, and enforced the phone policy. The new phone policy was a bad idea because what if an child is in danger, and he doesn't have his phone? I've seen people try to report bullying to the office, or otherwise and it never worked. They did absolutely NOTHING. I've even found many children in your school with severe depression or anxiety because of these problems. I do not recommend this school at all.Other Review4y ago - Ponderosa High School

"I have lived here over 20 years and it has evolved slowly to a more dense housing and better shopping areas near by. The major issues are insuring new residential building is limited to the property surrounding in that area. This is a rural area and the nearest local hospital is horrendously expensive."
