7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Child used to love this school. It is challenging when there is NOT a constant focus from teachers and always NO COMMUNICATION. In my opinion you need to speak to parents and evaluate teachers on performance based on how effective they are in teaching students and developing. When you have a amazing teacher one year in this school and the next year the teacher is not even remotely close to being a teacher or even close to skill level this is were LAUSD should be identifying which teachers as "ineffective." and make changes. My son complains constantly about how his teacher can't teach properly because she complains to the 1st grade class she is so underpaid and can't even shop at the 99 cent store. That is NOT a kid appropriate conversation for a 1st grader. He is not there to hear about your personal life issues, he is there to learn. How can you be teacher and educate properly when all you do is complain about your job to kids. Because of this lack of focus I as a parent have to use other resources to help expand my child's knowledge and education. That isn't fair for my child or other children and families when they are supposed to be attending school to learn not hear the teacher complain and her "Karen" attitude.I do wish the Principal would reprimand this callous behavior but it bandaged and looked past ,which leads to teachers bullying students and profiling them which happens too often. Then the students hold resentment and as we read in the news lately the out come has been terrifying. If you are LAUSD and want to give money to teachers give it to the ones that care not the ones who are just there for the job. I feel bad for a lot of our kids futures because it doesn't look promising when you have these kinds of teachers.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 5350 Sepulveda Blvd #1.

"I've lived here for 7 years. It's incredibly convenient with 3 grocery stores in walking distance, multiple restaurants, few minutes to freeway access. The dog walkers get to know your dog by name, but not yours :) I feel safe walking alone 24/7, street parking can be a hassle from restaurant employees and visitors."
