"Lived here for the last 5 years. Truly great neighborhood, walking distance to Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Erehwon, and Expo Line station. Very quiet, easy in and out with traffic. Both kids went to public schools, awesome education. Wished we lived here when they were little - the beautiful Douglass and Yahoo park are definite bonuses. Commute is probably the only against traffic in La County. "

"Expensive and convenient everything is close, but it’s not a deal and you overpay to lie in this part of LA "

"This neighborhood is amazing. Walk to Whole Foods, Milo and Olive, Tacos Punta Cabra....the best of the best. CVS around the corner, and more dry cleaners than you can shake a stick at!"

"i used to live close by and love the neighborhood. Not sure that it's best for kids. There are a few parks but due to traffic, would not let kids ride bikes or play close to the street. The area is mostly populated by young couples, singles and some senior citizens who kept the same apartment prior to abolition of rent control. It's a hip and trendy area with high end restaurants and shopping. Even the small groceries are expensive. Parking is at a premium and residents must obtain a paid parking permit from the city to accommodate guests. Almost all of the parking is by permit only or paid parking lots and valets. I love the neighborhood but know when you're looking for a place that the rent will be high for less than other areas offer and so is the cost of living. "
