6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome of the office staff is rude. I understand why my child doesn’t like going in. Maybe train them to actually speak to adults and children with respect? They don’t take bullying seriously unless you threaten to take things higher. One of the Math teachers is a bully with connections to another local school. Majority of the teachers are kind as is most of the office.Parent Review4mo ago - Del Mar Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is in kindergarten at Del Mar Elementary, and so far we have nothing but praise for this school. The teaching quality is excellent, and the principal here is wonderful--energetic, caring, responsive and wonderfully communicative. We are happy to be here, and feel fortunate to be part of the Del Mar community.Parent Review4y ago - Special Education Preschool

Surfing. Dog parks. Diversity. Always something to do. Perfect for gardeners like me. Best shelter in place location. Good access to Silicon Valley. Easy commute to everything. "Lived here for 2 years. Just off the beach. Cars are broken into regularly. I never leave anything in my car to prevent break ins. Bikes are stolen all the time. And if our apartment wasn’t hidden behind a large house I would worry about being broken into. It’s a hippy city and surfer and bro mentality or old ppl who don’t want it to change EVER ....the beach aspect is nice. But we are moving soon and I won’t be sad to leave. "
