9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAcademically competitive school. Students need to be self motivated to learn and work very hard to succeed. Those who don't typically don't have enough motivation to put in those extra hard work needed. This is a public school after all, teacher resources are limited like all other public schools, so if you need that extra attention, private school would be a better choice. Plenty of AP courses are being offered but again, self motivation and being resourceful is very important.Parent Review7mo ago - Gale Ranch Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a current student, and so far I have had a great experience! Most of my teachers are great (of course, there are some that are horrible, but most teachers are great), and I am enjoying my time here. I, along with all of my friends, have excellent grades (all over 90%). Most of my teachers are funny and takes their time to make sure that everyone understands the concepts. Some teachers give a ton of homework while some teachers give none. My core teacher last year said "I will not be assigning homework, but whatever you don't finish in class is homework", and then he proceeded to give only 5-10 minutes in class to work on it, so sometimes it took over an hour to finish just the core homework. There's not a lot of bullying, but some kids tend to get left out on things a lot. Also, there's already been a fight this year, and we're only a month into school. Overall, a great school though.Parent Review2y ago - Bella Vista Elementary
