7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has defnitely changed over the years. Since this school was rebuilt, we have seen the academics and sports program just take off. They have a great selection of teachers, their sports programs has really expanded and become very competitive.All 3 of our kids have gone to this school and we could not be more happy with their opportunities and experiences that this school has provided to them.Yes there are a LOT of kids that go to this school, but it is a very large school building - and really in a big school it is a fantastic way to prepare your kids of what is to come in college.Parent Review1y ago - La Costa Meadows Elementary School

They claim to understand the importance of mental health and its connection to academic growth but I have not seen it with the new administration. Staff is supported while the children and their feelings are not considered. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to the school, and it left a completely different person. Bullying is an insanely huge issue in this school, with no staff doing anything about it. Punishment is absurd and victims get the same punishment as their bullies and complaints against students fall on deaf ears. I was harassed and left traumatized and when talking to any and every school staff, they acted like the cared but continued to push me away and let the situation go away as they sweep it under the rug. Most everyone I know was also bullied and/or harassed. Not only are the students horrendous, but the school is a completely open campus in a pit, which especially concerned me after I got a personal threat of shooting. Lots of open places in the school with nothing preventing kids from keeping hidden items in their bags. Drug use is also a massive issue. Please keep this in mind you you plan to enroll your student.Other Review1y ago

"There is the HOA meetings , where everyone sits around and argues about where to spend the money. We need new sewage plumbing system and pave to driveways, but the members decide to repaint the tennis court and buy new furniture for the poolside, very special."
