6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student, I have mixed feelings about my school experience. While there are plenty of moments that I look forward to, such as exciting projects and spending time with friends, there are also instances of bullying and outcasting towards certain individuals. Despite this, most of the teachers are caring and kind towards their students, with some exceptions of those who may come across as harsh or show favoritism. Our orchestra teacher, Mr. K, and Algebra teacher, Ms. Hendrickson, are great examples of educators who go above and beyond for their students. The school counselors are also very approachable and willing to help students in need. One aspect of the school that I appreciate is the sense of community, with events like carnivals and dances that bring families and students together. However, there is also a fair amount of wild behavior, including occasional small fights, sagging pants, and lots of profanity. While this is not unique to our school, those seeking a more subdued environment may want to consider other options. Overall, I recommend this school, but with the caveat that it may not be the best fit for everyone. Despite its imperfections, there are still many kind and friendly students, and caring teachers who make it a worthwhile experience.Thank you for reading this honest review.Former student,SStudent Review7mo ago - Los Alamitos Elementary School
