7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers are way too lazy this year with taking attendance (2023). This is bad because during this year, a new rule thing passed down to the school which is basically way way way more strict on being late and absent. Having too much 3 tardies = 1 absent and if you have enough absences, then you can't go to school anymore. Teachers just gave up taking attendance you have to show up to class in like 2 mins or else you'll risk getting marked absent. Like come on it's my last year here.Student Review6mo ago - Bridges Academy

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery exclusive. Everyone has their own group and the teachers only prioritize certain coteries. Let alone the teachers not even teaching. Only 2 of which are actually genuine and caring for our education. Everyone else seems really unbothered which includes the principal and counselors. The school always says they support anti-bullying and issues but straight up all the activities we do related to so are so boring. They should really try and be more inclusive since everything I’ve done at this school has come to no use whatsoever. This is the same for safety regulations. They’re so strict! I had a jump rope once and the people watching the yard were gonna confiscate it since it was “too dangerous”. They don’t let us do anything and barely ever let us have fun. I straight up hate this school so much, like I’ve learned nothing—kind of expected more but this is by far worse of the worse schools ever.Student Review2y ago - McKinley Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to this school and it sucked, my teacher hated me even though I was doing amazing in every subject I had at the time. I even remember being stopped from leaving the classroom by him and he wouldn't let me leave until he did a wrong move and I just booked it out of the classroom, I will never forget the tears I had while running out of that classroom, completely filled with rage. I know I was kind of a bad student with my behavior, but I had having hard times at home yet, no one asked me what was wrong.Other Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 428 S 22nd St.

- Arianna C.

"Not that many dogs, no where for them to play and be free, too much traffic, too small a space. I can't think of anything they would like about raising a dog in a highly dense downtown neighborhood. "

"The “can I speak to the managers” are about 1 in 20. Most people are very caring and friendly. There are a fair amount of homeless people in the area who break into whatever they can, including to shower in our private community. I feel unsafe walking after dark. Lots of families and dogs, if that’s what you care about. "

You can tell who is local and who is brand new like myself and it’s been fun and all but paying to park in front of my home and not promised a spot is horrible and frustrating. "
