7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two boys have both attended the Lobo School of Innovation at Quimby and grown tremendously through the group oriented instruction. The school within a school allows the limited number of students to interact in age appropriate ways to learn about academic content, but more importantly, learn to work with others. Both my boys have grown as leaders and communicators who are engaged with the learning of the content and driving their own personal growth as team members. They took on leadership roles and flourished in the real world situations. The staff are fantastic, dedicated to bringing the material alive, even in the midst of a pandemic. Students must be coached to work with their peers so that one student does not do all the work -- that is the learning that is life-changing to be able to address at this age. Kids can do that and can excel in this environment. As a former teacher, I know that research does not say good things about homework. The research does say that this kind of learning approach for this age group is unrivaled in its ability to let students grow. Take a leap of faith and try LSI -- it will change your child's future in a most positive way.Parent Review1y ago - Carolyn A. Clark Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers here are awful and do not care. They basically teach the bare minimum and leave it up to parents to do the rest. There is also zero diversity at that school. They finally got their ratings dropped to a 6 as there is no way to cover up the incompetence at the school any longer. In my opinion, the school should be rated around a 4.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 3743 Quimby Rd.
