"I’ve lived in my street on Alumrock/ foothills area for over 10 years and my neighbors are mostly retired couples whom are very kind and friendly people. We have had recent people sell their house, and very nice younger people have moved in. And I love it. My street is very quiet, and I really enjoy it. "

"We have a bus main station on alum rock and we also have a light rail.. so I believe public transportation is okay just too much traffic. Oh and people are rude!"

"Amazing 15 minutes commutes (with bumper to bumper traffic!) to workplace near Brokaw Rd. That’s 30 minutes round trip (at most) per workday. I highly suggest to live in the Alum Rock-East Foothills neighborhood, as it’s strategically located to be close to work in North San Jose and let you be near family that lives in South San Jose."
