"40 mins to downtown generally, can make it in 30 mins if you time it right, but should leave 1 hr for important meeting since Muni can have delays often"

"If I had children to raise now I don't think I would do it here. It doesn't feel as friendly to me as it use to be. "

"There’s a park across the street from my house and many in the area, I feel like a dog family would love it here. The beach is very close and many homes in the area have lawns to accommodate dogs as well!"

"Parkside is rated “dog friendly” it is not. Just a warning, not much to do out here. A few good businesses and restaurants. "

"We don’t really have community events, the nicest thing has just been when we’ve had food trucks come to our large round about area. I don’t really expect this neighborhood to have community events, it’s mostly college students."

"Awesome neighborhood, been here 13 years and have seen it change dramatically. Cool new businesses like acupuncture and men’s skincare. Dance studio and lots of cool new restaurants. "

"Wide roads and single family homes. It's close to the beach, the SF zoo, and the Great Coastal Highway. There are great authentic restaurants, from Chinese food to Irish grub. Stern Grove has a festival every weekend in the summer with lots of great music. We have easy access to different parts of the city."

"Sunset Blvd or 19th Ave take lots of time and are very crowded. Take the back roads to get out of the city through Golden Gate Park."

"The commute is maze-like. It's complicated, and you either use Sloat, Sunset, or 19th to get around. It can be congested."
