"Commute is not bad. I prefer to use Sunset versus the great highway for going back and forth. Both are have slower traffic than on 19th but less of it. "

"Great area for dog owners! There’s Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, Sunset Blvd, the Great Highway, and Fort Funston- all good places to walk your dog. Just be aware that there are Coyotes and to be cautious. Usually not a threat to other dogs."

"There is a great commute system here in the Sunset, going downtown of San Francisco takes me about 45-55min to get to work and it is perfect for me to save money. A two minute walking distance to the bus stop is perfect, and 6min walking distance to the other bus stop that takes me to school. "

"We purchased a home in the Sunset 18 months ago, and were immediately greeted by our neighbords to the left and right, both of whom have children similar ages to ours. Our block is a mix of children-age families like ours, and elderly folks. Walking distance to a great school (Lawton), grocery store (Safeway), restaurants, hardware, and more. Love it!"

"Commute during rush hours is between 45 minutes to an hour between outer sunset and financial district and outer sunset and SFO international airport. Can take upwards of 2.5 hours each way to get to Cupertino and back. Public transportation within city is available but too slow. Until airport, BART is available which also connect east Bay Area to sf. To connect to South Bay Area, you need to switch to CalTrain. A commute to Silicon Valley can cost over $35 one way because of inefficiency of public transportation and you can easily spend that on gas just doing two trips to work via car "
