Pacific Heights Life: At the intersection of Pine and Franklin, life is good. Undoubtedly the most prestigious enclave in San Francisco, Pacific Heights epitomizes sophisticated city living. Attracting the oldest families and tech moguls alike, the elegant neighborhood evokes Hollywood's vision of San Francisco complete with rows of Victorian mansions and panoramic views from Sutro Tower across the Golden Gate to Marin.

Cuisine: Whole Foods at your doorstep. Michelin-starred Bird Provisions down the road. Take out from James Beard Award-winning chef Charles Phan. Dozens of destination restaurants lining Fillmore Street. San Franciscans rarely compromise when it comes to food and with what are arguable some of the best restaurants in the world surrounding Rockwell, you'll never have to.

Shopping: Rag & Bone. Ralph Lauren. James Perse. Marc Jacobs. Those in the know head to Fillmore Street to shop. A unique mix of hip and high fashion, the stretch between Jackson Street and Geary Street is home to some of the finest shops I the City. Not quite your style? Fillmore Street also has three quaint bookstores, three flower shops and even three old-fashioned hardware stores scattered among the upscale clothiers.

Entertainment: From Pacific Heights, all of San Francisco is at your fingertips. During the day-countless sidewalk cafes, wine bas and boutiques lend the neighborhood a decidedly chic demeanor. By night-find line music, hand-crafted cocktails, live theater and gorgeous classic movie houses all within blocks.

Parks: Grassy lawns, lovely views of the city and the bay, tennis courts, grand staircases, children's playgrounds, picnic tables and off-leash dog play areas. Lafayette Park and Alta Plaza are two of SF's finest. Both beautifully manicured parks have been beloved and well-cared for by residents of Pacific Heights since the late 1800's.

"I've lived in this neighborhood for just about 4 years and it is still my favorite neighbors to live in the city - it's adjacent to several different downtowns (Polk, Fillmore, Union) and is a considerably safe and well maintained area with respectful neighborhoods. As crime has gotten worse in the city overall, I've noticed homelessness creeping into the area more and more, the only downside."
