Description

This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from August 20, 2021
This handsome Alamo Square 1BR, 1 BA penthouse retreat is nestled atop a charming 5 unit Craftsman-style building. This is a cleverly remodeled unit w/peaked ceilings, sparkling white walls and natural light wood floors throughout. The living room features skylights, strategically placed mirror/built-ins, full of pleasing angles, light and reflection. One one end of the condo, a cozy bedroom with a view, built-in dresser, & mirrored door closet spanning the full length of one wall. Prepare for the day in the spa-like bath with its luxurious walk-in stone shower, large vanity in a tasteful combination of wood and granite, and a linen closet. The spacious chef's kitchen stands out with its white cabinetry, porcelain farm sink, luxurious thick granite counters, and breakfast bar. Prior to the installation of a new roof, the kitchen opened onto an expansive exclusive use deck, ideal for entertaining. (With new permitting, it's our understanding a new deck can be erected). Walkscore 96!

"Great central location that makes it easy to go downtown or to Golden Gate Park on the Muni 21 line, or to go to the Mission or to the Marina on the Muni 22 line. Walking distance from the opera, the symphony, the ballet, Nourse Auditorium and the new San Francisco Jazz Center. Close to restaurants, shops and bars on Hayes Street. Three blocks to children's playground and basketball court in one direction and three blocks to Alamo Square Park in the other direction. Street parking can be difficult especially after 8:00 pm."
