There are a couple of nice parks within a walking distance with a designated play area for children. My son was able to walk to preschool, elementary and middle school, which is not common in the United States. As a teenager, he still hangs out with his childhood friends who also grew up here."

    "Buses are easy to catch and walking is also pretty good. Uber is pretty expensive at rush hour, but walking is okay if done between 5-7:30. After that some areas are a little sketchy alone."

There are many bus options from Van Ness and City Hall, Metro and Bart 10 are minute walk away. If you have a car, it is very easy to reach the highways or drive to the Golden Gate bridge. Parking is largely available too."
