"I love my neighborhood because I am close to so many great amenities--Chestnut, Union, and Polk street are all within walking distance and great hubs for restaurants and bars. Fort Mason is a beautiful green space that overlooks the GGB, and, along with Crissy field, provides a great place to run, walk, or lounge with a good book. I love being close to the water and green space. Because of these things, this neighborhood feels more spread out than others in the city--not quite as claustrophobic, with wide sidewalks and less congestion. I also love the ability to shoot over the GGB to Marin and Napa. The Marina can be known for attracting some frat-stars and young party-goers, but there is a wide range of demographics and room for everyone. A peaceful place with an energetic undercurrent. "
