Original owner. Sparsely furnished...the basics, so you have plenty of room for your personal pieces. I removed 14 large pieces of furniture and many paintings from the walls. Its a one bedroom, ( can only accommodate up to a queen) one bath, with jacuzzi tub and shower, top floor unit with fantastic ocean, bay and downtown west views. Fantastic sunset views. Not many units in SD with this view. Very entertaining. Its in a perfect location also
Its walking distance to Balboa Park, restaurants, bars, market, etc.. Cathedral ceilings in living room , bay window seat...large enough to actually sleep in. Adjacent private covered patio deck for dining or seating looking at the view. There is a gas fireplace and hardwood floors with carpet in the bedroom. Stainless steel sink. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer in unit. Two flat screen televisions. I can make arrangements to remove my queen mattress and empty cupboards of dishes and towels and bedding with a 1 year lease. Laurel Bay has many amenities and is quiet and private. The location and views from the top west facing window is what makes this unit very special. Walk to Balboa Park, restaurants, shops, museums, stores, medical offices, and public transportation. 5 minute drive to Downtown, and the airport. Centrally located to all. Pool, gym, and computer room on site. Starbucks and restaurants underneath. It is a secured building with 4 secured entrances, elevator and underground parking. A FOB key is needed to enter. The unit has 1 assigned parking spot in the underground parking structure, but there are plenty of parking spots on the surrounding streets. There is a bus route on two of the adjacent streets. It is in a perfect location. Perfect spot for St.Patricks Day Parade. Dog park. Close to shopping and freeways. Pet friendly building and community. A non-smoking building. A very friendly, quiet community for strolling, biking, exercise, walking your dog, grabbing a bite of dinner, working or conversation over coffee. Excellent views and weather. I also accept short term leases for 3 to 9 months.

For 6month or more lease, owner pays all HOA amenities, trash, water, and gas. Tenant pays electric and internet. With 1 year lease will consider removing my queen mattress and some other items, like dishes, towels, bedding, lamps, some art. For any lease less than 6 month. Owner will pay ALL Utilities including internet for $3200 a month with option to extend on a monthly basis. Includes 2 flatscreen TVs with roku.

  • Trulia User
"I love the area. It’s a beautiful place to live. We can walk to balboa park, Little Italy. It’s close to downtown but not in downtown. Probably the best neighborhood in San Diego."
  • Trulia User
"We live in this area. The area is charming but once you live there you realize the safety issue. Also lots of fumes from vehicles and road work never ending. Noisy in some areas. Drunk people speeding in cars."
