"Community within an urban and commercial area. Onlyndinside is vine can go from great to gaudy from one build or block to the next. "
  • Trulia User
"Great for walking, entertaining visitors, and Padres games! I have been here for a few years and have almost loved every minute of it."
  • Trulia User
"Living in the Gaslamp is like living in Las Vegas. Weekends are crazy, Padres home games bring a lot of people, you have Comicon and St. Patrick’s Day. It is a wild place to visit, great for tourists. If you live here, it can get old fast. Paying tourists prices just to eat out, have a drink or carry out, it adds up. You have to pay for a parking spot if you own a car. Did I mention the smell of urine? People here are to lazy to take their dogs to the park, so they allow them to just piss on the sidewalks. I guess it doesn’t make that much of a difference, you see drunken tourists pissing on the buildings on the regular. There is also quite a homeless problem here. Aside from all that, it’s pretty great. "
