10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs comments below, although it is a nice school, the school isn't focused in student participation and academic learning. Also, you need to make rather large amount of donations for running STEM programs . It's not mandatory but you know how it is... Doesn't have GATE program for kids who are ahead of their age level, and they tell us it's because all of our kids are gifted! A lot of ESL or ELD kids in school, and they tend to put them together into the same class, which I don't think is a good idea to let them learn English quickly. But, they say it's to promote education according to their learning skills. Some teachers are good but others don't seem to care much. Too many substitute teacher days. Teachers are absent frequently without notice, and you have to find it out from you kid.Parent Review3y ago - Solana Pacific Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI find my child's teacher and principal to be caring, fair and very responsive. Solana Pacific is one of the top schools in the county, public or private. It isn't "perfect", but no school is. You can't beat the new and modern facilities and one of the lowest class sizes in the area. My son really enjoys the large school size since that allows him the opportunity to socialize with a variety of children.Parent Review8y ago - Torrey Pines High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat high school. One of the best in California. Had two students recently graduate and the transition to college was easy, both scholastically and socially. A very well-balanced high school that simultaneously excels in academics, social, and athletics. Very highly recommend Torrey Pines HS.Parent Review4mo ago - Carmel Valley Middle School

"It’s a very nice, well kept area but gas prices are about a dollar more here than anywhere else in the area. It’s also surrounded by businesses so it feels like a very corporate area with not very much to do. The closest Target is about 20 minutes away either north or south. "
