7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is subpar at best. There are rats and cockroaches (and other disgusting bugs) within the locker room. The PE teachers do not care about the health of students; they make them lie on the filthy gym floor everyday, and they never clean them. Some of the teachers here are great, but the other teachers can be somewhat of a martinet, being very critical, making students cry. I see students in the cafeteria running around like monkeys, chasing each other and putting one another in garbage cans, with no consequences. The curriculum is not challenging, as for the whole school year I have spent less than 8 hours total on homework. We live a block away from an elementary that is a deserved 9 (our other child attended) and we drive 15 min every morning so our child can attend this school instead. Its project based STEAM learning is fantastic. The staff is incredible. The leadership engaged. The parents are diverse and involved. "The neighborhood is slowly starting to deteriorate due to some of the city’s shortcoming on Police. Don’t expect them to show up if you call. Also the neighborhood is home to tons of gentrified scumbags with bad additudes….. "

"The commute is not bad at all I get to my job in 10 minutes every day with not a lot of traffic to deal with also it’s easy access to every direction I’d like to go in get to most of my destinations within 15 minutes from my current location "
