3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMoving from Elk Grove school district at a 9/10 school to this 3/10 school as been nothing short of a nightmare. My son entered the school January 2022. His first week of school his regular teacher was not there and I was not notified. Once the teacher got back there was no introduction or anything in regards to him being new and entering the class. I started getting text from the teacher regarding missing work from apps that myself and my son had no clue about. My son was being bullied for a short period of time with no action. I emailed the principal AND let the teacher know. The 4th/5th grade teacher (which i am choosing to not name) continuously sends text in regards to behavior in class and issues. I let her know that i felt like she was picking on my son. He got in trouble for drinking WATER in the classroom... in 104 degree weather. She says things like "he continuously worried about what other people are doing and not doing his work" when the other students are being loud and disrupted.... he is DISTRACTED! She never asked if he has any learning issues or any special needs or anything. There is always something at this school. Some staff are rude to the children more than I care to even talk about. The grading system that is in play is trash as well.Sacramento School District needs to take some notes from Elk Grove school District as soon as possible.Parent Review1y ago - Rosemont High School
