7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is subpar at best. There are rats and cockroaches (and other disgusting bugs) within the locker room. The PE teachers do not care about the health of students; they make them lie on the filthy gym floor everyday, and they never clean them. Some of the teachers here are great, but the other teachers can be somewhat of a martinet, being very critical, making students cry. I see students in the cafeteria running around like monkeys, chasing each other and putting one another in garbage cans, with no consequences. The curriculum is not challenging, as for the whole school year I have spent less than 8 hours total on homework. If you want your to have a good middle experience, do NOT send your child here.Student Review3y ago - Washington Elementary

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school and I believe the rating is dated. We live a block away from an elementary that is a deserved 9 (our other child attended) and we drive 15 min every morning so our child can attend this school instead. Its project based STEAM learning is fantastic. The staff is incredible. The leadership engaged. The parents are diverse and involved. So happy our child has the opportunity to be here.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 2615 D St #8.

"It’s a pretty quite neighborhood with good people all around. The homeless seems to be traveling through the heart of the city to do their daily stealing and begging though; so everyone is always on guard for them and being more safe. "

"Super quiet area with a toddler park walking distance! I feel comfortable having my son play outside."
