Grant High School was a life changing experience for me. This is a school with many opportunities, if you seek them. I was college ready, and a top student. I also was an athlete and found the programs to be amazing. While Grant is lacking in funding it makes up for it in spirit. Im sad to hear alot of the staff that were there when I attended are no longer working there, but that staff made the school as amazing as it is. I feel this school would have better ratings if more people knew to post reviews on this site. When there are only negative experiences being broadcasted and the people with positive experiences are not doing reviews, it doesn't create a cumulative review thats not based on bias. This school has the greatest potential, and the greatest stories to go along with it. I blame the city and the state for not putting more into the school considering its location. Despite the adversity, those who have strong pacer pride, work hard to give the school a better name.

This school exist!! And it's one of the Best Schools I have seen!! I went to visit the school and it have a GREAT LEADERSHIP along with Staff and Parents. I'm sure it has GREAT Teachers I haven't met them yet. But with all the parent volunteer they have and everybody working together along with the kids. This is a AWESOME school. Like they say "Don't judge a book by it's cover" You need to personally go and talk to staff and you will see why they are one of the top 3 schools Nation Wide. They were even invited to Washington and received an Award. Just imagine they have a kitchen well organized but the stove doesn't work. So, they have to cook their food off site and then bring it back to school. Even with that they are doing a GREAT JOB!!! I feel this school is an Inspiration for other schools to follow. My school Hazel Strauch say they will try to take something from them. Not, sure what they will take but I hope they do. They have a Parent room that's AWESOME and parents who help out. I hope this is one thing my school gets from them because we don't even have a parent room. I think every Principal should take a field trip with their staff member to see this school.

As a parent I will have to say that the leadership in this school does not properly know how to deal with bullying. My energetic and social child who have never been in troubled was bullied and the principal punished my child by removing my child from the classroom. This has caused my child to question why she was removed, her grades has dropped, she was negatively affected and continued to not feel safe. My initial request was to have the bully removed from the classroom, but the principal stated that that was impossible…I removed my child from this school and the district entirely and she has been thriving since. The principal during the 17/18-18/19 school year should be removed from her position so that she could experience what my child went through.

It was a good school but some teachers have diffrent moods and are different but thats normal but at this school kids would bring alcohol and things to smoke and kids do it all the time and the school knows it but so far as long as u stay away from the negativity and stay with positive and good side of teachers than u should be fine just dont get mixed into trouble because your most likely to get into a fight and since its 7th to 8th there are big kids and if ur small u definitely don't want to get stirred up in trouble and drama..well thats all i gotta say but the teachers are nice and great and same to some kids..
