7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved from Arizona and thought the schools in California would be more inclusive. I have to say that every staff member we met was welcoming, cared about my teen's success as a student and bent over backwards to help with accomodations. We were introduced to the nurse, the school counselor and even the wellness center staff who had a partnership with a local LGBTQ+ group to give teens a safe space to meet and talk. Sadly my child was bullied the first few days of school and the staff was powerless to do anything and my teenager didn't feel safe at Roseville. The students are not accepting the the school board is run by parents who don't want to promote inclusivity or kindness towards kids who are different. My teenager said the only person who was nice to them in class was a kid who had tourettes. The school board is now trying to ban LGBTQ+ clubs which is the only safe space for many teens in high school.
