6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSequoia High school is a beautiful campus but needs a change in its educational system. It's unsafe, and the curriculum is very limited. My daughter was a student of this school and couldn't graduate because the classrooms were a mess. I have relatives in Arizona, and they tell me how well-structured the HS is in their cities. I feel jealous of my relatives because we don't have better schools in the Bay area, and of course, I can't afford private schools.Parent Review1y ago - Clifford Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur children attend Clifford School today (Dec 2021) and have been there since kindergarten in 2014. Our experience at Clifford is overwhelmingly positive. The community and its influence have been a strength of the school from the beginning of our experience. Families are helpful and many are involved in fundamental ways. We have a dedicated, loving principal who has been part of the administration for several years. He has brought consistency and clarity through various challenges and, certainly, pivoting for COVID. There has been exciting evolution at our school as well, towards bringing in more elective options for middle schoolers, advanced math, restorative justice, and a breadth of social emotional learning. The diversity at this school, from income and race to abilities and learning differences, is rich and reflects the reality of our lives. In a world of great challenges and fierce competition, for a child to learn and grow in a nurturing and diverse environment such as that found at Clifford, we are fortunate.Parent Review2y ago - John F. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kid is loving school and that's all I really cares about. His teachers are kind and caring and while Roosevelt might not be the most academically rigorous, he's learning to love learning, which I think is more valuable. His class is racially and socioeconomically diverse, which has taught him the value of difference and flexibility. I couldn't imagine a better place for my kid than Roosevelt.Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 267 Grand St.

"Neighbors are not super friendly and cars drive fast through the straighaways. But streets have nice trees, large lots, and perfect distance to downtown."

"It is safe, friendly and I can walk to entertainment, shopping, schools, and churches. Amazing! The only thing we can’t walk to is a mall or Target, but they are both within a 15 minute drive. "

"Car centric yet walkable, the Stafford Park neighborhood is a lovely place to have your kids grow up. Stafford Park itself is a lovely little slice of suburban heaven, with live music in the summer, lots of kids birthday parties on weekends, and ice cream trucks selling their sweet treats almost year round. Since we're between 280 and 101 with a Caltrain stop less than a mile away, we have lots of commuting options. Sequoia hospital is really close in case of emergency. Whole foods is nearby, as is trader joe's. We can easily walk downtown to amazing coffee joints or awesome restaurants. Redwood City is getting really toni! We have lots of trails nearby for hiking or jogging...Truly a great place to live well!"

"We have visited this area many times during the past 40 years and it was always enjoyable, very residential, peaceful and secure. Nice kept homes and the atmosphere of country living even though is close to all amenities of a great city. Silicon Valley and most of the most prestigious companies are a short distance as well as great schools. The weather is rated as the best in the country and it is true according to our experience."
