6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSequoia High school is a beautiful campus but needs a change in its educational system. It's unsafe, and the curriculum is very limited. My daughter was a student of this school and couldn't graduate because the classrooms were a mess. I have relatives in Arizona, and they tell me how well-structured the HS is in their cities. I feel jealous of my relatives because we don't have better schools in the Bay area, and of course, I can't afford private schools.Parent Review1y ago - Woodside High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is a Junior at WHS. She has had wonderful, engaging, well educated teachers thus far. The principal is phenomenal- very communicative with families and has set a positive and supportive tone in the school. There are many built-in supports for struggling students. The school draws from a very diverse socio-economic area, and it does a good job at meeting a variety of needs. The school guidance counselors are amazing---helping students plan their journey through high school and beyond. There are plentiful offerings for elective courses, and many ways to get involved in sports/music/theater/leadership/clubs, etc. Overall, great school!Parent Review9mo ago - Clifford Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur children attend Clifford School today (Dec 2021) and have been there since kindergarten in 2014. Our experience at Clifford is overwhelmingly positive. The community and its influence have been a strength of the school from the beginning of our experience. Families are helpful and many are involved in fundamental ways. We have a dedicated, loving principal who has been part of the administration for several years. He has brought consistency and clarity through various challenges and, certainly, pivoting for COVID. There has been exciting evolution at our school as well, towards bringing in more elective options for middle schoolers, advanced math, restorative justice, and a breadth of social emotional learning. The diversity at this school, from income and race to abilities and learning differences, is rich and reflects the reality of our lives. In a world of great challenges and fierce competition, for a child to learn and grow in a nurturing and diverse environment such as that found at Clifford, we are fortunate.Parent Review2y ago - Henry Ford Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kid is loving school and that's all I really cares about. His teachers are kind and caring and while Roosevelt might not be the most academically rigorous, he's learning to love learning, which I think is more valuable. His class is racially and socioeconomically diverse, which has taught him the value of difference and flexibility. I couldn't imagine a better place for my kid than Roosevelt.Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 1161 Woodrow St.

"It’s safe to walk your dog past 10pm. Neighbors walk past 10 and it’s safe. It’s very homey and neighbors are nice to each other. It’s quiet. I was raised here. Love the neighborhood. Came back after 16 years. Still a great place. "

"Only a block or two from a busy bus stop. Short walk to CalTrain. Only a few blocks from Woodside Road which has exits on 101 and on 280."
