  • Jennsickies
"Don’t come here. Streets aren’t maintained. Sidewalks aren’t maintained. It’s not safe. I don’t feel safe walking around. I highly recommend moving out of state. "
  • Viera.george
"Open spaces and good parks. Everybody is dog friendly and picks up after their dogs. Nice people and friendly community."
  • Juan Lopez
"We can walk our dogs and all pet owners walk dogs with leash. Good neighborhood. In Lincoln Park area. "
  • Trulia User
"I just moved here, so unfortunately, I don't really know. There are several colleges that host events, a Shakespeare festival, hiking at local parks, and a lively downtown. "
  • Trulia User
"I really like the neighborhood because it's a great place to race your kids. I also love the parks and stores locations around this area"
  • Rebecca J.
"Alot of stray dogs and feral cats in the area. No leash law enforced and streets are heavy with high speed traffic. "
  • Lea V.
"It has such history and enormous potential for becoming a great up and coming area. It has plenty of restaurants and stores yet with its pockets of residential neighborhoods."
  • Lea V.
"Close to everything. Not downtown Los Angeles kind of traffic but still fairly busy. Currently not the best place to live but has great potential."
  • Jennifer M.
"cars do speed on residential streets in pomona lack of stop signs but there is a increase in policing traffic laws and do their best to catch drivers who are speeding "
  • Rockabillyesaul
"Pomona has ugly parts in the two main blvds and some houses. Nonetheless, it has a few really nice residential areas and the down town part is thriving. It makes me somewhat proud of living in a city with a lot of history and culture."
  • Wendy M.
"move out ASAP. too many bums. school district sucks, doesn't place enough importance on special ED department. gen ed is ok. few teachers at Garey high who care. look for those "
  • Stephanie B.
"There is no room for dogs here, all the yards are small and cramped. This is not the place for dogs for sure."
  • Alyssa A.
"The city is getting better as a whole. However, there are still some areas where the crime is very high and there’s some gang affiliation."
  • Izzypacheco5
"The city is improving and it is the next gentrified area. That sucks to here but it’s become more welcoming to outsiders. People talk down on Pomona but I’ve loved it here"
  • Marely S.
"I guess the fact that my friends live in the area, there is a park close by, stores close by, and that there are schools close by."
  • Jennifer O.
"Right now, we are all working remotely so our commute is 0. Other than that, we would be driving to LA. That can take two hours (one way). "
  • Stephanieann73
"The commute is in between shopping malls and farmers markets and grocery store and it’s perfect. It’s not far from anything "
  • Qkenia54688
"To make sure neighborhood is safe specially if there’s kids around. There are schools close to home."
  • Luis G.
"What Makes this neighborhood unique is the community and the culture behind it all. It isn’t hectic in any way but quite the opposite it’s pretty relaxing and you don’t have to worry about anyone bothering you"
  • John N.
" Very poor neighborhood kind of CD with graffiti on the wallsI wouldn’t go for a walk after dark. Old neighborhoods here in the streets are bad"
  • Dawnthalacker1
"there's lots of dogs all the time and they always seem quite happy walking their people around here "
  • Monica D.
"The quiet cul de sac and big yard create a great and safe environment to play in. Our neighbors keep an eye out for our children and for anything out of the ordinary."
  • Eloy G.
"It bad neighbored to go for a walk to many thieves and burglars not enough police patrols no privacy"
  • Julie S.
"Lived here my whole life! Not the best area but it is home. Many stores around and easy to walk around to get by "
  • Simeon B.
"people do walk their dogs on leaches and actually I rarely see stray dogs now a days. it's kinda weird. But good. every dog deserves a good home 🏡."
  • Ealvarez123
"Pomona is dangerous, you cannot hang out outside, you may get shot, its s bad neighborhood, I am trying to move out, I have lived here for 14 years snd never hang out outside, mostly in the back yard"
  • Monica D.
"There is a Farmers market and a lot of nightlife in the neighboring city of Claremont, which is a mile away."
  • Dustin
"nothing except I'm close to mountains beach and other cities so we avoid Pomona and do most buisness in surrounding cities"
  • Stacy C.
"Dogs not leashes when being walked. Dogs being left outside all the time and because of that there is constant barking day & night."
  • Trulia User
"There are lots of parks in the area and lots of families all strewn throughout the city, if you know where to look. The city is developing and improving and making it a place I want to raise my child - or at least visit to show the culture of the area."
  • Angelica C.
"Plenty of bums sleeping on the streets. If your into trash on the ground and homeless people this is the neighborhood for you. "
  • ALVARO A.
"L A County fair is here in Pomona and drag racing too Twice a year and many shopping centers to choose from , we have consents in Downtown Pomona., we have like shows in the park "
  • Tommiegreaves
"The community center puts on a haunted house and the art walk in Downtown Pomona is nice. Lots of good places to eat and cool shops including a record store"
  • Donna F.
"we have a lot of speeders and idiot's that do donuts in the intersection.. no one does anything.. way to much gun firing in to the air. whether it the 4th or just a regular day"
  • Ozzie L.
"There is public transportation for people needed to get to their locations and they also have medical transportation for Dr appointments but for me I drive to my locations and there is a lot of congestion on the side streets and there is homeless people that just cross at the crossroads when they are not supposed to and also on Indian Hill at the In N Out the drive thru lane comes out to the street which creates traffic in the right lane going south "
  • Mayra
"monthly art walk every 2and Saturday of every month. they also have a farmers market, I forget what days but usually in the summer time..... other events as well"
  • Ivcantrell
"I live and work in pomona and it during rush hour it takes me 25 30 minutes when at other times its 10 to 15 minutes for the same distance. For people leavening the area they get home prior to my time. There is a couple of train depots in the northern part of the city but not near my home. There is an option for a bus to work if needed, but it would take even longer."
  • Audra
"I have a long commute to Los Angeles. About 3 hours of my day. Every day. It’s wearing out my car and my soul."
  • Angelinamunguia626
"public transportation is great. neighborhood is very friendly. the buses run everywhere. there are schools near by"
  • Annabelle T.
"Car needed to get to most places outside city such as shopping, however there is a bus station and also Metrolink nearby"
