My son is attending this school since kindergarten; he is now in 5th grade and I could see how the school has overall improved through the years. Mrs O’Neil, teachers and staff do their very best to motivate students to attend every day and get better grades. There is a lot of supervision and they take bullying seriously., they do not take anything for granted to offer a safe environment. They are now offering a lot of after class activities such as chess, art, cooking, coding, dancing and more.

They took away our first amendment right to assemble they made a rule so we couldn't be in a group of 6 or more people they hardly check to see if students have any weapons on them the school janitor found a bullet in the locker room, they don't deal with problems well, most of the teachers are cool tho, our current principal Ms. Garcia barely does anything we had 1 assembly in the whole year.

My daughter is a freshman at Ontario high school, and her small group of friends have been physically attacked more than once and some of the girls have been hospitalized twice due to a larger group of girls that have violently attacked the group on a number of different occasions. The larger group of girls that have physically made attacks have now made other threats such as verbal warning of more serious assaults to come and the school is taking this issue very lightly. Their response and resolution to the whole situation is to recommended that the smaller group ( the ones being threatened) move to another school while this larger group of girls continue to be a threat on campus. The leadership at Ontario high is not working on the real safety of our students but enabling and allowing girls to get jumped and have threats made while nothing is being done.
