"lots of trees in the areas, and lots of dogs to pee on them lol other than that I don't know people personally, I'm not that friendly to people, I always greet the animals first :)"

"There is a lot of traffic on surface streets and usually takes at least 10 minutes to get to a freeway."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood off and on for five years. It’s gotten much much better however I like closer to Antelope. I love on a busy street but two blocks back it’s very quiet. There is a sense of community and people want to improve our neighborhood and make it safer. "

"I see people walking their dogs and most people have fence around the front yard so it’s pretty cool."

"Don’t let your kids walk outside without parent company. Traffic often run red lights and are not watchful on corners. Lots of homeless roaming around. "

"My street is pretty safe most neighborhoods have lived here for many years so they are always looking after each other. It is not a neighborhood you can safely walk through when it gets dark though. A lot of sketchy looking people."

"I've lived in on the north western edge of North Highlands since 2011, in the ag-res section west of Watt. It is nice to have a piece of the country so close to town for many reasons - growing food, raising animals, giving children hands on ecology lessons at home, and promoting wildlife conservation in the backyard. However, it is disheartening to see lack of respect for people that rely on Public Transportation. There are very few sidewalks or street lights in this area and the bus services are limited. Folks like myself become very isolated when we cannot drive to the store, bank, work or other life enhancing services - this only promotes poverty and isolation for all in North Highlands."

"just moved to this neighborhood about five months ago, it is easy to get from one side of town to another because of the extensive freeway system and there's any type of store that you need who is within several blocks one thing I don't like is my Banks or quite are not located in this part of town "
