7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis used to be an exciting school to attend but after 2014 they started letting kids from Vallejo who don't deserve to be here to attend based off a lottery acceptance. Unfortunately, Project Based Learning (PBL) has not prepared me at all for the university level. I'm not sure why PBL had to be instilled in the first place where other schools in the district such as Napa or Vintage have prepared students MUCH better for university without PBL in the past. I've only had a hand full of teachers care about traditional learning and every time I check the directory to see if they're still teaching at ACHS, I come to found out that they are not. PBL is a failed experiment especially with unmotivated kids who don't want to work. Most of the class grade is based on participation from everyone in the group and if you get stuck in a bad group, good luck working on the project on your own.
