9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageum its okay i guess. The neutral bathroom was vandalized with anti-racial comments and symbols and the administration did nothing about it but paint over it. You can still see some messages which shows that they don't care. No announcement or anything. There are expose pipes in that bathrooms as well and its overall just disgusting . Imagine a new student coming and seeing that. They wouldn't feel welcomed or safe at all.Parent Review1y ago - Ardis G. Egan Junior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, I do not recommend this school if you are expecting your child to actually learn from their teachers. However, if you plan to employ private tutors for your child and send them to a private middle school, this school could be perfect for you. Teachers have more or less given up teaching because they assume kids are receiving private tutoring.During Covid, LASD boasted that their students did not suffer learning loss (as evidenced by no shift in the percentage of students earning a proficiency of 3/4 in various subject areas). However, this was underpinned by massive investment in private tutoring by parents. This school fails students that fall behind for any reason or require special support (like OT). If you require such special services, hope that you can afford to pay for them on your own.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 133 Laurel Way.

- Mjmschlitz

"There are many dogs and a fun dog park. My apt is very dog friendly. What I don’t love is the fact that dog walkers bring a ton of dogs and don’t always clean up after. I wonder if people who pay dog walkers expect them to sit around chatting w friends rather than walking their dogs. A conundrum, I guess."
- Mjmschlitz
- Resident

"People claim to be dog walkers but come to dog park w packs of large dogs, sit and chat w other “dog walkers,” and don’t pay attention to how their pack impacts smaller dogs. Often they scoff at dog owners who express concerns. Do owners know this is what their “dog walkers are all about?"
