4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Hendrick Ranch Elementary School has been nothing but positive and that is due to the Principal, Mr. Gordon. His response to any issues or problems that have arisen is immediate. Mr. Gordon is very proactive and as a parent I appreciate this type of response. Mr. Gordon interacts with the students in a positive manner and he knows most by name, not because they misbehave but because he cares enough to engage them in simple conversation. Mr. Gordon is very concerned w/the academic growth and progress of all of the students and he, along with several teachers offer after school tutoring programs. Mr. Gordon maintains an open door policy in regards to communicating w/the parents. I have called the school on occasion w/a question or concern and either been put through to his phone line or a message was taken and he returned my call as soon as he was available. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a bullies playground. The administration is aware and just does absolutely nothing about it until it’s too late. Even then, they minimize what actually happens and does a horrible job at responding appropriately when they have knowledge prior to an incident or attack takes place. It’s sad that you can’t trust anyone with your kids. Not even administrators who are trained and educated in the field that they occupy employment within. The cleanliness of the school, not to mention the size of the campus, was a great experience. The students care about their campus and it showed! "The commute to and from the freeway is good. Once you’re on the freeway is a different story as in anywhere in California. I take the side streets which gets me to work and home in a timely manner. "

"I live across the street from a park. I love to see people out enjoying themselves. Teenagers and young men play friendly games of basketball, children laughing and playing, baseball games and I love walking my husky as some of the kids have come to know her. Everyone seems friendly enough on my street and I don’t mind my neighbors kids playing in my yard. "
