5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school & the hired help DO NOT have the resources or patience to deal with children who have behavior issues. They will call you for any little small thing. Caused me to quit my job. To top it off, they called me down there to talk to my son. Next day they put a no trespassing order on me. I pulled my kids out so fast. Do not recommend this school. Please avoidParent Review11mo ago - Roosevelt Junior High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely horrible administration, nothing but issues from start to middle of school. The theft and fighting that occurs daily at this school is horrendous. Not only do they not care about the safety of the children they offer no solution to any issues. We are now looking to charter/private schools again. If you care about your children safety and education I would stay clear of Modesto city schools and this administration.Parent Review1y ago - Thomas Downey High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDear Community Member,Your comments about Pharmacy School and Pharm.D. graduates reflect either extreme naivety or extreme ignorance! Pharmacy Schools such as UC San Francisco are as competitive as many U.S. Medical Schools and Law Schools. The acceptance rate for recent entering classes at UCSF Pharmacy School was on the order of 1/20 applicants and entering student GPAs are well above 3.5. I suggest that before so ignorantly dismissing doctoral degree programs such as Pharmacy, please do your research! Current Pharmacy School graduates in California earn starting salaries in the $150,000 per year range and work along side physicians and other members of the medical care team in such areas as Diabetes Care, Congestive Heart Failure, Anticoagulant Therapy, Medication Therapy, and Primary Care to name but a few. In the future, Pharmacists will be called upon to increase their involvement in direct patient care with their drug therapy expertise. And, Thomas Downey High definitely prepared me to excel in my chosen profession of Pharmacy.Other Review8y ago - Check out schools near 232 E Orangeburg Ave.

"My neighborhood is a great area for dog owners. Good parks nice sidewalks to give you space. There is a variety of dog owners walking through my area and never have an issue. Only problem i can see is if your dog isnt properly trained or if you dont pick up after your own dog. I dont see alot of issues like that in my area "

"This neighborhood is well lit for the most part at night. Everyone keeps their yard maintained. We have families and homeowners of all ages and all are active in walking through the neighborhood, riding bicycles and walking their dogs. Our neighborhood is quiet and without drama. I feel safe walking around at night. The only major complaint I have about the neighborhood I live in now, is that vehicles have a tendency to not realize how fast they going intentionally or not it can be frustrating. All in all I love living here. The elementary school is just a few blocks away for my son to attend and for my daughter to catch the bus. That is another fantastic perk about this neighborhood, the public transportation, MAXX bus is literally just around the corner!! I live within walking distance of two different parks. I am close to the shopping center, pharmacy, retail stores and almost every type and kind of fast food you could imagine."
