"I drive to work. There is a lot of traffic during rush hours. It is also crowded when there are games at Dodger stadium. "

"nothing is special at all here, it's terrible and no one should ever buy a place any where near here"

"Not a great family oriented area. It’s dirty and we have a major homeless problem. It’s dirty everywhere and parking is even worse "

"It’s pretty safe and quiet here. There are a lot of roaches. Parking kind of sucks because of the Dodgers. Decent food selection. Drivers are a little reckless at stop signs. No good grocery stores. Not many good parks. Relatively affordable but that’s going to change. Probably not a child’s ideal place to live, honestly, but it’s also not the worst place in LA."

"dog lovers but rarely. very tight community any outsiders will be scrutinized and will take a long time to penetrate their circle of trust. but once you're good , you're good...and they'll accept you as one of their own. I love that this community is very family oriented . and there's a lot of activities for the community. you can walk down the street with no worries .."

"I just moved into this area and it is truly a hidden gem! Skyline views, a short walk to chinatown with it's nightlife and neon lights, gentle rolling hills, and elysian park as your backyard! Great area not discovered by the hated hipster yet either!"

  • Trulia User
"Chinese School, Elementary School nearby...infamous chinatown is a ten minute walk away. However when dodger stadium games are going on...it really congest that solano ave street too much. It is also across from the huge park known as La Historic State Park they hold many festivals and concerts. If you don't mind the great crowd and great music its for you. If you prefer a more kept in neighborhood..try another."
