2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy sister went here for a year. The emotional trauma she went through from the students themselves and at the hands of the staff affected her for the rest of her middle school years. She is special needs and her teachers did absolutely nothing for her. They would give her packets printed off of Google and would never answer her questions or show her the lectures on subjects. Students would attempt to throw water on her hearing aids and staff never attempted to discipline them. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a black parent of a child who was attending Crenshaw H.S. This is an under performing school that needs to be shut down. The inner city need vouchers. They need to shut down this school for failing students in both math and English. People, we need to wake up...we are and should not be victims of our own government institutions!!!!!Other Review7y ago

"The area is definitely up and coming and changing everyday. Home prices are increasing a lot and I would say the area is being gentrified due to its location. People walk their dog at night and the area is not really any more dangerous than wealthier areas. "

"There are no community events in the Hyde Park neighborhood. I believe there is a neighborhood council, but I don’t believe they facilitate events. "
