Description

This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
This traditional home in in an extremely coveted West Los Angeles neighborhood is a rare gem on a beautiful tree-canopied street! With two bedrooms and one bath, and a vintage kitchen with separate laundry and dining area, this is the home you have been waiting for. A light and bright wood-beamed bonus room outside the kitchen would make a great family room or den or even a 3rd bedroom, and it opens onto a lovely brick patio complete with a built-in barbeque and a bubbling fountain. An incredible place for private outdoor entertaining and a lovely place for dining al fresco and entertaining all year round. A gated back entrance to the garage would make it (along with its small bonus room) a logical income-producing ADU conversion with it's own private entrance! Remodel this home with your own taste and style or keep it exactly as it is and enjoy all its vintage homey charm. There is even a vegetable garden! Beautifully maintained and loved by its current long-time residents. Extraordinary West Los Angeles home in this price range, you'll see right away it's an incredible value! Great central location close to the new Google Campus, UCLA, Santa Monica, Culver CIty, the 10 and 405, the expo line, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, etc. This won't last long!

  • Trulia User
"Unlike nearby areas, Sawtelle, especially South of Santa Monica, is less densely built and populated, and has a nice neighborly feel. I know many neighbors by walking my dogs here... the only thing I wish is that the area was closed to through traffic, because the 405 freeway underpasses at Santa Monica and Olympic create a giant funnel where everyone drives like mad trying to shortcut through our neighborhood. The new Expo line has done nothing to cut that traffic. "

"That it is a great neighborhood. The schools are great It is near UCLA and Santa Monica college It is near the 405 freeway and the 10 freeway The rent is high but worth it There are shops and the VA hospital. There might be the homeless loitering around in the neighborhood and that is why the rent is high Cops are visible It is not far from the beach."
