Why rent a room in someone else's house or rent an apartment with shared walls with noisy/nosy neighbors when you can live in your own cottage home/guesthouse/ADU that is quiet, private (no shared walls) and fully furnished (including dishes and utensils, and linens if you want them). Full kitchen, wood flooring, lots of kitchen cabinet space, a large closet, and a private patio. Perfect for graduate student or working or retired professional.

The bedroom area is partially enclosed and has a queen size Murphy/wall bed. It also has beautiful Mexican tile and matching sink in the bathroom. It has a full open kitchen with all new appliances including a full size fridge, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, built-in microwave, and stove/oven. It also has a full size washer and dryer.

The property is gated and has a security system. Favorable background and credit check required at potential renter's expense ($35) before lease is offered and signed. 6 or 12 month lease available.

~Application fee of around $35 which includes background and credit check (Through Zillow or RentSpree)

~Owner pays for water, gas, gardener
~Tenant pays for electricity, parking permit, and for cable (and TV) if desired
~Tenant may share WiFi with the front house, or may install and pay for WiFi solely for the back house.
~Ample street parking which requires purchase of an annual permit which will cost you around $35.
~Renter must obtain renter's insurance and provide proof of insurance prior to start of lease

~The front house has indoor/outdoor cats so probably best not to apply if you don't like cats.
