"People smile and say “hi” to one another. Totally different from anywhere else in Los Angeles. Everyone seems to be looking out for one another. I have a dog and everyone knows his name around my community. The people I meet in my community are some of the most kind, genuine people I am proud to share a neighborhood with. "

"There is a halfway house on the corner of Descanso and Robinson. Some people are not aware of this, because both streets are beautiful. It does not belong in our community. It is unsafe and it is the one thing preventing our neighborhood from being the best it can be. The “residents” walk back and forth on Descanso, and I’ve been followed on 3 separate occasions and did not feel safe."

"It is a safe neighborhood, but you should still always make sure all doors and windows are closed. Make sure your pets don’t stay outside in the evenings and if you are unable to make friends with your neighbor- look into it bc people around here are in general friendly and say “hi” to one another. "
